Hello friend! π
Life lessons aren't just from self-help books.
Nature is filled with them (if you're willing to listen) πΎ
I love extracting wisdom from nature because it is both obvious and grounding.
7 things my pet friend teaches me every day:
1/ Have fun
2/ Stay present
3/ Shake off stress
4/ Respect your routine
5/ Stretch after sitting/lying down
6/ Move on after making a mistake
7/ Give lots of love (unconditionally)
Let's break it down:
Points 3 & 5? Scientifically proven to improve your health.
Points 4 & 6? Pillars of goal execution.
Points 1 & 2? Make life pleasurable.
And point 7? The core of being (truly) human.
Wisdom isn't reserved for gurus. Sometimes it comes from the smallest interactions.
I can think of many other things nature teaches us daily. What comes to your mind now? βΊοΈ
Have a Super Sunday.
With much joy,
Hashim
PS. Nara also doesn't stress about the future or get stuck in the past, isnβt that the core of mindfulness practice? βΊοΈ
PPS. Hereβs a picture of Nara and I when she was just 30-days old π₯Ή
