Jumpstart January Wrap-Up: 12 Journal Prompts You Can Use To Unlock Your Best Today
Powerful introspection can create massive impact
Hello friend! 👋
We are wrapping up Jumpstart January series today, and I hope you managed to gain some insights about how you can create lasting change.
Have you been consistent with showing up at your best daily so far this year?
If yes, then take a moment celebrate and establish this win. Well done! 💪
If not, remember to practice kindness so you can help yourself start strong tomorrow. 🙏
Today, I’ll summarize our journey so far this year through questions you can ask yourself, and take action based on your answer.
Before we start; have you joined my 30-day writing journey? I am writing a daily atomic essay on similar topics we discuss here as well as trying to write about new ideas too. You can check it out by following me on Twitter or LinkedIn
Grab a notebook or a laptop and let’s dive in!
♥️ Be The Best In The World At What You Love
It is no surprise that a dream this wild (being the best in the world), cannot become a reality if not backed by infinite power (through loving it).
As you answer these questions, think of your creative self - the higher self that aims for a purpose beyond entertainment.
What can be helpful is to consider these question with the mindset you would have AFTER having completed your entire bucket-list:
What would you if you had all the time and the money in the world?
What would you still do if you had no time and no money in the world?
Are you clear on what your northstar value is?
Are you actively bringing this value to life in your moment-to-moment interactions with yourself, your work, and your relationships?
Are each of your fundamentals operating at optimal levels? What would you do to improve each of them just 1% today (and another tomorrow, and so on)?
⚙️ Be Consistent In Producing High Quality Work
The number 1 productivity drainer is distraction.
And in today’s world, everything around us is full of flashing lights and whistles.
Once you decide WHO you want to be, it is time to double down on how you’re currently designing your life;
What is the first thing you do in the morning? Do you blow up your consciousness with all the input from your phone or do you guard your creative hours/minutes?
How do you schedule your tasks for the day? Are you scheduling the most demanding first thing in the morning to utilize your willpower wisely?
How are you AM and PM bookends (your most sacred slots of each day) being spent? Are you utilizing these for creative work vs reactive work?
⭐️ Be Committed To Creating Masterpiece Days
We all get only 24-hours in the day, however it is beneficial to keep in mind that if we have time to consume, then we have time to create.
If we have time for entertainment, then we have time for actualization.
Are you kicking off your day with a plan to seize the day?
Is your work throughout the day scheduled in time-blocks to ensure hyperfocus?
Are you oscillating through deep recovery in-between deep work time-blocks?
Are you closing off with a relook to seal the day?
Remembering to take inventory of your life through the above questions with kindness whenever you see a gap, and celebration whenever you see a gain.
For the times you see a gap, you can actively shift your focus to how far you’ve come instead of how far you have to go.
Have fun, bring an attitude of learning and discovery, and bring out your best to those around you.
With much joy,
Have a Super Sunday! 💪

I loved this series as it has helped me keep my New Year’s resolutions for longer than I have these previous years! I can finally understand what I have been doing wrong these past years and the steps necessary to accomplish my goals and reach my full potential. However, I have been repeatedly exposed to or given the advice of improving 1% each day but never really understood it. Could you in future posts emphasize on what is meant by that and how can one achieve it?
