π 10 truths I know now and would teach my 20-year-old self.
Hello friend,
Contrary to common belief, we do not learn through experience. We learn through reflecting on this experience.
Today, I am reflecting on my experiences and capturing these learnings.
Iβm sure youβd find them helpful too:
β’ Have a clear 20-year plan, it's your guide to saying 'No'
β’ It is better to suck than skip, micro feeds the macro.
β’ Self-judgment can only take you so far.
β’ Celebrate milestones, big or small.
β’ Don't be afraid to fail, a lot.
β’ Give much more than you take.
β’ Chill, everything will eventually be figured out.
β’ Self-compassion can build resilience and wisdom.
β’ YES lives in the land of NO. Don't be afraid to ask, a lot.
β’ Spend time with family, they won't always be around (RIP Mama β₯οΈ)
Bonus: Always have a pet, they have so much to teach you! πΎ
