Hello friend! đ
It is the last month of the year, take a couple of minutes to reflect on the following questions:
Whatâs one thing youâve done so far this year and is worth celebrating?
Whatâs one thing you could do better?
What will you do within December so that you can do this better moving forward (and prep for an awesome 2024?)
Remember, we donât learn just through experience, we learn through reflecting on experiences.
And itâs never too late to correct course, start anew, and keep growing.
Which brings me to todayâs topic - my top 10 truths that Iâd teach my younger self.
Letâs go!
1. Have a clear 20-year plan, it's your guide to saying 'No'
2. It is better to suck than skip, micro feeds the macro.
3. Self-judgment can only take you so far.
4. Celebrate milestones, big or small.
5. Don't be afraid to fail, a lot.
6. Give much more than you take.
7. Chill, everything will eventually be figured out.
8. Self-compassion can build resilience and wisdom.
9. YES lives in the land of NO. Don't be afraid to ask, a lot.
10. Spend time with family, they won't always be around (RIP Mama â„ïž)
Bonus: Always have a pet, they have so much to teach you! đŸ
Over to you.
Which one resonates the most with you?
And, what else do you know now that your younger self would appreciate knowing?
Remind yourself, do more of it, and let others know (you never know who might need to hear it).
Have a Super Sunday! đȘ
With much joy,
Hashim
